Pré Light Report
1. We want the available light as main, to fell more the environment. We going to use one/two strobes as fill only to have more details on the person and on the bottom of the machine. We won’t need a light for the background because we won’t see it much. We tought about a softbox, but I think maybe a light on the subject will give us details without touching the machine (causing shadows)
2. About 50 mm to have more perception of the environment.
3. Aperture: 2.8 will throw out of focus and accentuate the attention of the viewer on the subject and the part of the machine he is working with.
4. The shutter speed will be 1/125. We cannot do a long exposure to have movement because the person that is working on the machine does not move a lot.
5. It will be preferable to have a shutter speed faster but the available light if not strong enough. We need to work on a tripod
6. We do have enough strobes because we want to keep the main light as main. It’s just to give more details on the person and the bottom of the machine is really dark. We will try first with reflectors. If it doesn’t work, we will use a second fill light
7. Not too much light....
8. The white balance will be an issue (put some green gels) and also reflections by the avail. Light and probably strobes (on the little window and on the top of the machines) we will use a gobo for the window and a polarizer filter for reflection (in that case, we will need to increase of two stops) we will need to shoot about 400-650 ISO .... Viva lightroom3 with noise reduction.

- Extensions (we have a electric thing 2 meters from our spot)
- Polarizer filter 50 mm
- Light meter
- Tape
- Windex and paper towel (clean window)
- Stepladder
- Big reflector silver
- Black curtain 3 ft x 3 ft
- 2 stands and clips for the curtain
